Anna Marie Brawner Pike, age 48 of Manchester, died Friday, January 6, 2012, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, January 8, 2012, at First Assembly of God Church in Manchester, with Rev. Robbie Shirah officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Smith-Steele-Meadows Funeral Home in Manchester.
Anna Marie was born January 17, 1963 in Warm Springs, Ga., a daughter of James Brawner and Margaret Garner Mallory.
She was a homemaker and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Manchester. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Truitt and Anna Mae Brawner and Robert and Elizabeth Garner; Three brothers, Timmy O'Neal,Kenneth O'Neal and Rodney Mallory; a niece, Teresa Brawner, and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her daughter, Holly Pike (Jonathan West) of Manchester; Father and step-mother James Brawner and Shelby Brawner of Manchester; Mother and step-father, Margaret G. Mallory and Roy Mallory of Woodland; grandchildren, Jazmine Dean, Allison West, Aidan West and Devin West all of Manchester; two sisters, Mae Mallory and her husband Charles of Woodland and Pam Henry and her husband Greg of Manchester; a brother, Walter Brawner of Manchester; also several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Dr. Thompson and his Staff in Manchester, the Doctors and Nurses of Emory University Hospital, Warm Springs Medical Center, and The Medical Center in Columbus for the care given to Anna Marie during her illness.
Smith-Steele-Meadows Funeral Home, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
